Presentation

Hello everybody! It’s Paula here. I am very glad to welcome you to what is going to be a space to reflect on geometry and its relationship with different aspects that surround our lives. 

I will be talking about geometry in gastronomy, in dance, in sports, and many more topics that will come up eventually. I think it is going to be very interesting, especially for us, teachers, that need to familiarise with the different ways in which we will teach our future students. We need to make mathematical teaching much more enjoyable and foster its learning in our kids by using creative  and imaginative dynamics and creating explanations that will catch their attention! I think that showing them that life around them is filled with mathematics will help them to better understand the contents in a much easier way rather than just memorising formulas.
